  • Sports were a huge part of my life growing up. I played competitive softball from a young age and went on to compete as a Division I athlete at the College of Charleston. Like many people who grew up in the 90s and early 2000s, my early understanding of nutrition was shaped by diet culture and performance pressure. This messaging was a major factor into why I developed an eating disorder and struggled with food all throughout high school and college.

During my senior year of college, (while continuing to battle diet culture & my relationship with food) I had the opportunity to intern with the sports dietitian at the College of Charleston, who also specialized in eating disorders.

That experience was a turning point. It helped me see how closely food, body image, performance, and nervous system stress are connected, and it ultimately led me to pursue graduate school in nutrition and become a dietitian. Now I get to help others heal their relationship with food!

  • My approach is somatic, relational, and collaborative. I pay close attention to subtle shifts during sessions, including changes in energy, emotions, and nervous system responses. Often, these cues tell us as much as words do.

Rather than talking at you or focusing on rigid plans, I guide sessions through thoughtful questions and shared exploration. I move at a pace that feels supportive and responsive, helping you build awareness and trust with your body without pressure or judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported as we work together.

All of this from the foundation of a weigh-inclusive, non-diet, and traum-informed lens.

  • I specialize in working with eating disorders and disordered eating, including complex trauma-related presentations in those 18 years old and older.

    My clinical interests include:

    • ARFID

    • ADHD and eating

    • Athletes

    • Type 2 diabetes

    • Individuals for whom eating feels overwhelming or like a chore.

    • People who don’t enjoy cooking and are looking for realistic, supportive ways to nourish themselves

  • Clients often share that they feel deeply understood in our work together.

They appreciate my empathy, my ability to notice what’s happening beneath the surface, and my attunement to moments when things feel overwhelming or hard to articulate.

I’m naturally sensitive to shifts in energy and nervous system responses, which helps me adapt sessions in a way that feels grounding and supportive.

  • Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and dogs. Being outdoors, especially when it’s warm. I’m an avid reader, with a soft spot for fantasy/romance novels and anything by Kristin Hannah. I’m also a big foodie and love trying new restaurants and coffee shops whenever I can.

I also love writing and sharing my knowledge through my blog —> check it out here if you’d like.

    • Enneagram 2 (with strong 1 and 3 wings)

    • Obsessed with Thai food

    • Laid-back and tend to match the energy of the client in front of me

Helping you build a more peaceful relationship with food, because you deserve it.
